New Get Creative Orchestra

I am writing from sound, Scotland’s new music incubator in the north-east. 

I am delighted to attach an e-flyer for an exciting opportunity for young people in primary school – Get Creative Orchestra.

Get Creative Orchestra is our free year-round creative music making programme for instrumentalists aged 8-11, giving young people the opportunity to improve their creative music making skills and experience playing in a group setting. Children should be able to play a variety of different notes with ease and should have been playing their instrument for a minimum of six months.

 
I would be grateful if you could make your pupils aware of this opportunity and send copies of the e-flyer to parents/carers (perhaps you have a newsletter/emailing list?). We are aware that it’s probably too late to advertise for the first session on the 10th September, but the next workshop is on the 8th October and we have regular sessions throughout the year.

Please be aware that the morning Taster session on Sunday 10th September has been cancelled. Any new attendees will be invited to join the afternoon Orchestra session in the afternoon.
