Gregor Townsend MBE Visits Hazlehead School

We were thrilled to have Scotland Rugby’s International Head Coach Gregor Townsend in school today for our Achievement Assembly.  Gregor was invited to attend by Gregor Morison, another rugby playing Gregor in our Primary 7 Class.

Our Primary 7 class had a fabulous Q&A session with Gregor, and everyone was allowed to be a bit “hands on” with the amazing Calcutta Cup – what an experience for the P7s 2nd last day at Hazlehead.

The whole school and our invited parents and guests heard a motivational talk from Gregor, covering resilience which is one of our school focus points this year.

We are so priviledged at Hazlehead to have so many wonderful guests coming to see us over the year.
