w/c 3rd June – Sports Day and More!!

We were very lucky on Tuesday because the weather was beautiful and it was our Sports Day!!

In the morning, we were in our Houses and we took part in Potted Sports on the Astroturf. Every time we completed an activity, we were gaining House Points. Each House wanted to win the House Cup so we all tried really hard.

In the afternoon we had competitive races and it was really good fun because our parents and friends came along to cheer us on. We learned at the end of the day that DRUM house had won the Sports Cup so we want to congratulate all the members of Drum and say WELL DONE!!!!

We also want to say big THANK YOU to the Parent Council and all the other helpers who worked so hard to make the Sports such a success.

We have taken advantage of the good weather throughout the rest of the week too and on Monday we did some measuring outside. On Thursday we had PE with Mrs Mutch on the Astroturf and we were learning to work together and play competitive games.
