w/c 27th May

We have been outdoors as much as possible this week to take advantage of the nice weather. We also think that being outside makes learning even more fun!!

We had a handwriting lesson in the playground where we made some cursive ‘r’ letters. We were able to look at our friends work and comment on how they had done.

We have continued to practise our skills for sports day and, during House Time, we got the chance to choose a sports day colour and find out about what will be happening. Sports Day is on Tuesday 4th June, so we hope it will be fine that day.

We did some work on our Healthy Me topic and found out about different food groups. We wrote an acrostic poem about a food we really like.

We have also set ourselves a challenge of doing a walk in the playground each day. We are trying to improve our performance over the next four weeks so wish us luck!!
