Welcome Back!

Hope you all had a nice Easter break.  The boys and girls enjoyed sharing with the class what they did during the holidays.

Also this week after sharing what we did on our holidays the boys and girls completed a piece of personal writing about one thing they enjoyed doing during the holidays.

 

 

 

 

 

This week in gym we were working on creating a body part dance. We listened to the song and made up actions in small groups. We then performed our dance to the rest of the class.

Also in gym we started working on football skills. This week we were focusing on dribbling.

 

 

 In class this week we had something very exciting to talk about. Ollie brought in a deers antler to show, which he found on a walk through the woods. We spent time to talk about the antler and to have a touch of it. It felt a bit different to what we were expecting.

 

In Maths this week we have been looking at sorting. Here are some of the different ways we were sorting.

 We sorted by different shapes, colours, lengths and at one station we chose our own criteria.

 

We had a lovely sunny afternoon on Friday so decided to talk some activities outside to enjoy the weather.
