World Book Day

To celebrate World Book Day the whole school took part in silent reading for half an hour! The pupils enjoyed sharing the books they had brought in with the class and some were read out during the day. We also had the challenge of decorating the classroom door with the theme of a book – The Jungle Book! We listened to the story, discussed characters and settings and wrote about them. Amy Heffernan of Primary 7 also visited us and read a chapter from her favourite book.
