Senses walk around our school playground

Last week, on a very windy day, we went on a senses walk around our school playground to explore our local environment and how the land is used, as part of our topic on Aberdeen. We divided into groups and each had a different sense to use to find out more about the environment around the school. We remembered that if we closed our eyes to use another sense, we had to stand still to be safe! When we got back to class, we shared what we had found out and put the information onto senses posters. We enjoyed exploring how the land round our school is used for lots of different things.
